Coonamble 'Save a Dying Town' campaign

Team: Ann Stricke, Asher Hooghiemstra, Jaimee Wallington, Taylah Pather

Coonamble NSW is a dying country town in rural Australia, suffering from a drought and decimated economy, with the young population leaving the small town for big cities. My team were tasked with producing a mobile, social media and ambient ad campaign to attract new residents to Coonamble.

Our creative strategy targeted young people/families, attempting to highlight the major differences in living in the city versus a small town. ​

Our solution was to highlight the benefits of living in Coonamble, encouraging the target audience to consider a tree change.

My role in this assignment included creative ideation, ambient media mock ups, content writing (alongside Jaimee), and proofreading.
